John grew up on a farm near Harrodsburg, Kentucky. After high school, he spent five years working in the construction industry. John earned a BA in History at EKU where he worked as a peer tutor and mentor. He honed his research and writing skills during college and wanted to apply them in a legal setting. John is interested in attending law school and is specifically interested in contracts and estate planning.
Outside of work, John enjoys running, hiking, and backpacking. He also still enjoys researching, reading, and writing about history.
