Mr. Quintero attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida where he pursued a degree in Legal Studies. He joined the University’s Mock Trial Team, an undergraduate program where student advocates litigated mock trials against teams from other universities. After 2 years, Mr. Quintero became one of the leading members of the program, winning numerous individual awards and helping his team win several tournaments, most notably, a first place win at Harvard University, where Mr. Quintero’s team defeated teams from Yale, Boston University, and Princeton. After a successful undergraduate career, Mr. Quintero graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies and decided to pursue his passion of advocacy and litigation by attending law school.
From 2008-2011, Mr. Quintero attended the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida where he quickly separated himself as one of the college’s best student litigators. As he did at the University of Central Florida, Mr. Quintero continued to pursue his passion for courtroom advocacy and joined the College of Law’s Mock Trial Team. After a grueling two-week long tryout process, Mr. Quintero had the distinct privilege of litigating before Florida Supreme Justice Jorge Labarga after placing in the top 4—out of over 100 competitors—during the try out process. During Mr. Quintero’s 2 years with the student organization, he led the program to a final four finish in every tournament he competed in, including a National Championship win at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Mock Trial Competition in San Antonio, Texas. As part of the National Championship team, Mr. Quintero was awarded a top advocate award by the tournament directors based on his performance and preparation during the tournament.? At the conclusion of Mr. Quintero’s law school career, he was among only 4 students awarded the Order of the Barristers, a national organization that recognizes law school students who have exhibited excellence and attained high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy.
Upon graduation, Mr. Quintero joined the Office of the Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. For four and half years, Mr. Quintero provided zealous legal representation to thousands of individuals charged with crimes ranging from minor criminal traffic offenses to felonies punishable by life imprisonment. Mr. Quintero is a meticulous trial advocate and has tried almost 30 criminal jury trials with a nearly perfect acquittal record.
In 2017, after a successful career with the Public Defender’s Office and after a small stint at a private criminal defense firm, Mr. Quintero transitioned from Criminal Law and joined one of the largest first-party Plaintiff property damage law firms in the State of Florida. For almost 4 years Mr. Quintero worked hand-in-hand with some of the best property damage attorneys in the State. Mr. Quintero gained in-depth knowledge of the property insurance industry and represented a wide variety of clients in a wide variety of property damage claims with great success. Mr. Quintero has handled property damage claims at every stage—including initial pre-suit claims management through litigation—and has achieved exceptional results for his clients.
In 2020, after gaining invaluable experience in handling property damage claims, Mr. Quintero founded Quintero Law Firm PLLC and expanded his practice into the State of Tennessee. Mr. Quintero understands the unique challenges facing property owners when dealing with insurance companies. Mr. Quintero brings a plethora of experience and throughout his time handling property damage claims has obtained millions of dollars in unpaid benefits from insurance companies. Mr. Quintero strives to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients while also forging strong relationships with his clients and colleagues.
Outside of the courtroom Mr. Quintero enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, reading, music and spending quality time with friends and family.
