Averey is a Kentucky native and a graduate of Centre College with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics with a minor in Social Justice. During college, she dedicated her time to the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty program serving as a legal intern for the Public Defender’s Office. Averey is dedicated to furthering her skills as a Paralegal at the firm, providing stronger research skills, effective communication and a smooth litigation process for our clients and attorneys.
Prior to the Firm, Averey dedicated her time working at a U.S. Department of Defense-owned Armed Forces Recreation Center named Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Germany. She spent her time serving military members and families during their deployment. Averey was a leader in the rooms division tasked with ensuring operation efficiency and performance among all employees.
Outside of the firm, Averey enjoys music, traveling, running and spending time with her family.
