Zach is a graduate of Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a Focus Certification in Public Policy, Artificial Intelligence and Technology. Zach's academic background, knowledge of the legal system, and desire to help the people of Kentucky serve as a strong foundation for his Legal Assistant position. During his time in college, Zach specialized in AI and tech policy, public policy, intellectual and private property, and political and social science. These specializations denote his tech-forward thinking and its intersection with law and governance.
Prior to joining the firm, Zach was an international English tutor, primarily working with students and professionals in South Korea, ranging from lawyers and CEOs to doctors and Netflix departmental directors. He later focused his work on at-risk and undocumented high school students near Boston, Massachusetts, providing one-on-one mentorship and tutoring while advocating for their right to education.
Zach is also heavily involved in disaster relief and recovery efforts, particularly in Eastern Kentucky. Following Eastern Kentucky's 2022 floods, Zach helped organize and enact flood recovery measures while raising awareness through appearances on global media outlets like CNN International. His work in both teaching and environmental disaster recovery showcases his excellent oratory skills, communication across languages and cultures, and critical-thinking and problem-solving skills that serve as the foundation for his further pursuits in the legal field.
At the firm, Zach assists attorneys with drafting legal documentation, schedule management, and provides clear communication with both attorneys and clients. He strives to ensure his work is highly organized and concise while maintaining active communication across team members and attorneys. Zach is committed to teamwork and further professional development to ensure the satisfaction of both clients and team members.
Outside of the firm, Zach enjoys enveloping himself in legal knowledge and current political issues. He aspires to continue learning and growing within the legal field before pursuing law school. Zach also enjoys tennis and is both a casual and competitive video game player with extensive experience.
